The special theme for this year’s entries for the JDA is: Invent a product that works better. The task being therefore to find new solutions to well-known problems. The overall winner will receive the sum of
10 000 British Pounds, the same amount will be awarded to his or her university department. The jury‘s decision will be announced on October 5th.
Austrian participants oft the JDA will again be given the opportunity to present their innovative projects during VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Debüt, the newcomers‘ platform oft the festival. These will, as last year, be presented in an exhibition as part of the festival and receive the attention of a designthirsty, even international, audience.
